Since EMC released CoprHD as an open source project last June, we’ve made great strides in giving admins great leverage in using their storage systems of choice with OpenStack and other cloud platforms. CoprHD can now function as a storage controller for Cinder and will add integration with Nova, Swift and Manila in future releases. We also plan to integrate CoprHD with Gluster, Ceph and other open source storage technologies.
CoprHD is best used as a multi-storage system manager in environments that require integration with many cloud and virtualization platforms. This BoF is for OpenStack application developers interested in integrating CoprHD in their environment and for operations experts looking for an easy way to create converged infrastructures. Urayoan Irizarry, CoprHD’s community manager, will discuss the current state of the CoprHD community, what we’re working on, and where we go from here.
