Amit initiated the Poppy project and leads its development. During his tenure as a Senior Software Manager at Rackspace, Amit leads the development of Rackspace CDN (Rackspace's deployment of Poppy).  He also leads the development of Rackspace's Cloud Backup product, and participated significantly in Cloud Queues (which is Rackspace's deployment of OpenStack Zaqar). Amit enjoys building and leading development teams, and spends time designing both the underlying architecture and user-facing aspects of every product he's involved with. He specializes in REST-based APIs and intuitive UX/Web design.
